Tattoos have been with us for years: Tattoos have different meanings. These are no longer just, as some people believe, signs of membership in the criminal world and all such bad things. Tattoo studios are places where you get the impression that art plays a big role. Therefore, you should finally change your thinking on this subject and finally convince yourself that tattoos are nothing unnatural.

Not from today

tattoos are nothing new and have existed in different cultures for hundreds of years. People do not know about it, therefore they judge this form of body decoration in advance as something new and negative. It’s not worth having such an approach, but before someone can build their own opinion on this subject, they should get to know this tattoo culture a bit. You can also talk about tattoo studios as new inventions, because there used to be nothing like that and people did tattoos in houses, shacks and so on.

In some tribes, as we can see after watching nature programs, tattoos are still culturally significant and are done in a rather painful and not sterile way. Years ago, in some islands, tattoos meant that a young boy was becoming a man, or that a woman had some achievements and abilities. Only with time civilized people began to be interested in this subject and also made tattoos themselves. For example, it was the case with seafarers, to whom we owe the fact that tattoos also appeared in our culture. With time, this fashion for tattoos began to accelerate, more and more people wanted to have them, and so it came to Poland, where in the 90s of the twentieth century, the first legal tattoo studio appeared.

How do we perceive tattoos?

Our opinion on tattoos changes a lot. Maybe it’s also because we haven’t been dealing with them that long. Of course, people in our country have been doing them for years and we did not need a legal tattoo studio for this, but with the legalization of this business, more and more such places began to appear, tattooers came out of hiding, from the basement and began to spread this fashion after simply among all people.

Mostly by the elderly, tattoos have been viewed badly. However, this is changing over the years and people are becoming more and more tolerant of them. A tattoo does not mean that someone isolates himself from certain social groups in favor of one specific one. As people working and staying in tattoo studios know, now they are done for various, often very personal and emotional reasons. The younger the generation, the softer the opinion about happiness is.

A few years ago, even in schools that were supposed to be tolerant, they warned not to get tattoos and had to cover them up. Still often in tattoo studios they are done in places that are hardly visible. Young people were warned against, among other things, not getting tattoos in visible places, because this could alienate the future employer. Fortunately, that is already changing and now you don’t have to worry anymore that you won’t be accepted if you have a tattoo. In large companies, even in managerial and executive positions, people no longer have to beware of going to the tattoo studio, because it is simply respected. Of course, everyone should remember what profession to do and sometimes not really get a tattoo in a visible place. For example,

Why do we get tattoos?

People going to a tattoo studio often pour out in front of tattooists their reasons why right now and why this particular pattern. Sometimes there are really strange and completely illogical reasons that prove that the tattoo is not seriously thought out, but some people take it with meaning, emotions and tattoo something on their body that is of great importance to them. It can be a symbol of friendship, the date of death of someone important, or, for example, a portrait of a child. However, there are also less obvious tattoos that make it impossible to tell immediately what the person is thinking about when getting a tattoo.

Tattoos are becoming more and more popular and if someone would like to mark their body in this way in a tattoo studio, feel free to do it, as long as it is a deliberate decision.
